HelloID acts as identity provider for VMware Workspace ONE

HelloID, the cloud-based IAM solution from Tools4ever, can now also function as an identity provider (IdP) for Workspace ONE customers. Thanks to this new option, organizations wishing to use Workspace ONE in combination with Azure AD are no longer required to have an Azure AD Premium license.
Workspace ONE by VMware is a solution that provides, among other things, endpoint and application management for digital work environments. The Workspace ONE functionality can be delivered both on-premise and from the cloud. To link the Workspace ONE environment with Azure Active Directory (AD) for storing user identities, a relatively expensive Azure Premium license was needed until now.

By making HelloID suitable as an identity provider (IdP) for Workspace ONE, this is no longer necessary. Workspace ONE is now linked to HelloID, which automatically synchronizes all identity data with Azure AD. The enrollment of devices (iOS, Android, and Windows 10) also works excellently with this setup.
